Meet Tabby Kerwin
A Yorkshire girl at heart, Tabby is everything you need as a speaker and consultant. Direct, efficient, motivational and strategic with a hint of fun!

Tabby is the woman you want in your corner when it comes to navigating the challenges your life and business will throw at you, like grief and mental distress. She will inspire you to actively prepare for those hard times, shifting the narrative around mental health from reactive to protective as she goes. With proven strategies grounded in positive psychology research and her own psycholigical framework, PERFORM, Tabby’s work helps individuals and organisations to PERFORM at their best, be more productive and be happy and ‘Wellthy’. Her continuing studies as a PhD candidate support this as she focuses on the concept of pre-traumatic growth: preparing for the hard things like stress and grief in advance.

Not only does Tabby leave audiences motivated, she equips them with the tools and strategies to take action immediately, not just helping people on an individual level but actively helping to build the organisational infrastructures necessary for individuals to thrive within.
As an expert speaker, it is not just her words from stage that count; it is her ongoing support and resources that help make real change for good, helping to reduce mental-health related sick days to 0% and solve the £23 billion problem that is grief in the workplace.

Tabby’s TEDx talk titled “Widowhood Made Me Happier” gave a vulnerable insight into life with grief, which can and must co-exist with the permission to choose happiness, without guilt or the fear of judgement.
A grounded yet strong, resilient and ambitious woman, Tabby is your ‘must have’ choice for being by your side, speaking at your event or consulting in your organisation to help quickly grow with grief, develop a mentally healthy culture and embrace peak performance.
She’ll even throw in anecdotes about running the London marathon being the worst day of her life (bold climb as her husband died!) and how she temporarily went blind on the side of an African mountain.

Tabby is the co-founder of Mode for… and the founder and CEO of The PERFORM Experience which she co-directs with her son Olly Kerwin-Clegg.

Through her speaking, consulting, coaching and writing she is on a mission to help 7 million people protect their mental health, grow with grief and PERFORM at their best in the next 7 years.
Her best-selling books include:
* The Three Ps: possibility, productivity & performance
* The Three Taboos: cancer, grief & mental health
* The Way to PERFORM
A personal note from Tabby…
I’m not just a psychologist who teaches about grief. I’m a widow who has grown through it.
I was widowed at 41. I know the shock, the loneliness, the identity crisis, and the exhaustion of performing “fine” for everyone else. When I was widowed, I had to start navigating life solo.
A solo mum.
A solo life.
A solo CEO and business owner…
…and I didn’t have family around to lean on.
There weren’t resources to show me what to do. I worked it out.
I worked out how to be happy and thriving and honour my loss…
… and now I want to share that with YOU. To help you and yoru organisation to be happier in widowhood too.
I also know (from lived experience and 20+ years of psychology) that it is possible to build a life that is genuinely, meaningfully, joyfully yours again.
I travel solo. I run my company. I have adventures I never imagined. I laugh — really laugh — most days.
And every single day, I miss Simon.
Both are true. Both are allowed. And I want to show you how.
